How to handwrite on iOS 10's iMessage
I'm sure many of you are familiar with the new features on iMessage on iOS 10, using Stickers, emoticons and all the fun and fancy special effects etc.
But did you know that you can WRITE (yes, "write", like in the good old days before computers) a message to send to your friends?
It's more like scribble actually (in fact, that's what it's called on the Apple Watch) because you can write and draw on a canvas and send that in iMessage.
So how do you do it?
Simple.
Go to iMessage and turn your iPhone to landscape mode.
That's it.
You should see something like this:
You can start drawing / writing or simply choose from one of the pre-defined messages shown on the bottom of the screen.
The message you selected will show on the canvas:
You can "improve" on the message, by adding your own scribble:
You can also tap on the ">" to scroll to the right and some more of your own scribble:
Put your iPhone back on Portrait mode and you can see the complete message:
You can then send the message.
